The variable porous structures available in Molemab Vitrified CBN allow high material removal rates and readily dressable wheels and make this product uniquely suitable for profile grinding applications.
Such profiles are typical when grinding broaches, gear hob cutters and various thread profiles. The dressability can be extended to crushing complicated profiles directly onto the wheels when required as is common practice when grinding thread dies.
