We manufacture the various diamond indenters according to applicable procedures and standards. The geometry of the diamond indenter to measure hardness is determined by the respective standard:
Hardness measurement according to:
ROCKWELL cone 120° with radius r = 0.200m
VICKERS pyramid 148°7` edge angle / 136° surface angle KNOOP rhomboid with 130° respectively 172°30` edge angle BERKOVIC 3-sided pyramid (tetrahedron) The diamonds are set using a high strength, non-rebounding bond for the normal hardness testing machines.
